International Case Management

The provision of rehabilitation services outside of the UK often adds a further layer of complexity to the case management process, requiring a case manager familiar with the challenges involved. 

In addition to standard case management input,Compass Case Management  can:

• Visit clients worldwide to assess their immediate needs and provide recommendations for ongoing rehabilitation. This can often be arranged within 1-2 weeks of referral.

• Organise medical flight services

• Instruct medical translators.

• Organise specialist online or in person training programmes for local therapists and carers.

• Instruct a local case management assistant to support with case coordination.

• Provide ongoing case management visits to client’s home countries where appropriate.

Where British residents have been injured abroad, Compass Case Management can provide immediate needs assessments in their current location and manage arrangements for their return back to the UK. Where appropriate, this could include admission directly into a private rehabilitation unit. 

Services can include recommendations for and liaison with a local case manager to hand over to on their arrival home.
